Following formal appointment, we identify adjacent building owners via Land Registry data and other means, and diligently prepare and issue notice(s) under Sections 1, 3 and 6 of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, as appropriate.
We undertake formal Schedule of Condition surveys which records the pre-existing condition of the Adjoining Owner's property in the event of any later dispute under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
We prepare and agree party wall awards either as an Agreed Surveyor or working in conjunction with other party surveyors. The award enables the Building Owner to legally proceed with the notified works, but also protect the Adjoining Owner's position in the event of damage or loss. The award will primarily deals with the time and manner of undertaking the works and may also deal with matters of access.
Private appointment by Building Owner of a single-storey detached property wishing to extend the ground floor of the property and increase to two storeys. Required service notices under Section 1 (Line of Junction) and Section 6 (Adjacent Excavations).
Private appointment by a Building Owner wishing to construct a domestic extension to their property with concrete foundations to a depth of 1,000mm below ground level to support a new flank wall. Required Section 6 notices and agreement of a party wall award.

Local Authority appointment to prepare and manage all party wall matters in connection with a 22-plot affordable housing development on an unused parcel of land surrounded by multiple freehold, leasehold and Local Authority-owned properties.
Private appointment by residential occupier as the Adjoining Owner's Surveyor. Required checking validity of party wall notice(s), attendance during a Schedule of Condition and agreement of a party wall award with the Building Owner's Surveyor.
